Chat bubbles

Hello this game is awesome,but I think there is one thing missing from it chat bubbles.In the chat box there is all ways spamming I cant see my writing when I talk or anything,but with chat bubbles we could talk out loud and see who is talking,lots of games has them and it works out really good for the people that don't like them could make an option to turn them off or on,I think it would go really good when in parties cause people could see what your saying better.If anyone agrees that there should be chat bubbles please support this thread thanks :)

I could not agree more on this topic. The issue has been debated a lot in the past undoubtedly, however SE has made it clear so far they have no plans to add this. Their only reason is that it is not technically possible for them to implement this currently. Which I find ironic and untrue considering that NPCs already use chat bubbles in-game.

The arguing points that some have tried to use in the past is that they 'don't want the spam' or that they feel it is too system resource demanding.

First, anyone who has ever played any mmo with chat bubbles as an option should know that it has always been an option that can be toggled off. Therefore, the idea of too much spam is unfounded.

Second, as far as system resource demands go, chat bubbles use no shading, textures or 3d generating models. Therefore again, this claim is unfounded as well.

IMO, overall it all comes down to time that the devs have to implement the feature. Not that it is difficult or undesired by many, but simply that SE has a lot of other features to handle first. I think ultimately if we keep reminding SE about the topic, it will get added in the end.

Thank you zosimo for agreeing I think it would work out better if they add them cause bots are already spamming in the chat box anyway
and at lease when we go to dungeons and stuff we can talk to other players

This is a great feature im surprised they left it out

I can only guess that the main reason the feature was left out is that SE had a limited amount of time to remake an entire game and they had to keep the list of changes as short as possible. On the bright side, SE has lots of plans to still add other features in the near future so not all is lost just because it wasn't in at launch.

Thanks for the info that's good I hope in the near future they will make the chat bubbles,I think most players will like it I know I would.
I have never really liked games with a chatbox this game is awesome but could be better if they did that

It'd certainly be a nice addition. It'd also be very beneficial for role-play! I've seen many NPC's use chat bubbles for flavour dialogue so it'd certainly fit the feel of the game if implemented.
