Font size of all texts displayed in the game

The font size is too small to be read well on the PS3.

PC users will find it fine because they sit 2 or so feet away from the monitor. PS3 users, like me, may find it hard. When I play on the TV, I play about 8 feet away. I'm forced to squint my eyes hard-core or go closer toward the TV to read:

-NPC dialogue / cutscene
-Names of areas on the map
-Equipment / Item description
-Damage / Techniques / Status inflicted to Self / Enemy / PC
(I think these font should stand out more, the pointer is blotting out this, perhaps with darker font outline)
-Various other font / symbol elements unsizable by using R3 or L1 + Right Joystick.

Can anyone help to resolve this issue, so that others like me can enjoy the game without straining their eyes? I don't know if it's been suggested to Square-Enix, I did a long search and no results.

I'd like to see this option as well but for the opposite reason. Everything is so HUGE! The boxes are enormous as well as the text within them.

I have the blinking cursor bug that has been going on since beta and so I am forced to play in Borderless Window mode (my HDD died and I'm using an older OS on another machine) and it allows only for the minimal settings of 1280x720 and will not set to a higher graphic setting to match my native setting. My current ui is about twice the size of my ui in other games (such as RIFT and WoW) and usually in those games I have it lowered to between 60% - 80% of the ui scale in-game. Therefore, I would like to see a slider that adjusts the in-game ui in percentages as well as being able to adjust the font size.

That is actually what would be very useful and helpful, the ability to scale the UI itself and the font itself. This option should be implemented in the game to make UI more visual friendly.
