Controller issues
Please give more options to customize the controller.
Problem 1:
Auto-Run, switch target, zoom in/out all use the SAME button by default, L1. So when the cross bar is up and you want to switch targets with L1, and you're moving, autorun will become enabled and you'll run into oblivion. When you're fighting a monster and you want to zoom out to see better, holding L1 will cycle through the targets while it's pressed.
Problem 2:
This one really blows my mind. Someone wasn't thinking when they made this. L1/R1 are switch target Left and switch target Right. If you change auto-run to R1, which is much more comfortable, you are ALSO changing zoom in/out to R1, which isn't bad, but you're switching switch target left to R1. So you hit R1 to switch targets left, and L1 to switch targets right. That should be bound to the button, not to auto-run.
As a tank, who has to frequently switch targets for hate purposes, and keep positioning myself, while being able to see everything, requiring lots of movement, zoom changes, and target changes, all while having the cross bar up to keep doing hate moves, this is a gigantic pain. Please fix it. Or give hte option to use the 1.0 controller setup. That setup worked great.

Regarding your first issue, I too think it was a bad idea to utilize L1 with auto-run along with also using L1 to switch between targets but this can be modified via the Key Bindings menu, can't it?
Regarding your second issue, when I press R1 while fighting, it doesn't switch targets, it switches my Cross-Bars to the next CrossBar that occupies an ability, it doesn't switch targets.

try a keyboard and mouse, o wait they disable that option.

When you rebind auto-run to a different button, the target switch and zoom in/out go with it. As far as I've been able to determine, there's no way to change that.
You press R1 and it changes cross bars, but if you do it while a cross bar is active, L1/R1 switch targets left to right. I have my L2/R2 set to mixed, where if I just tap them they stay up and I don't have to hold them, because holding them down is uncomfortable, and prone to mistakes if you accidently let go of them. Also L1/R1 become target monsters only when the cross bar is active. As a tank or melee, this makes targeting infinitely easier when lots of monsters and party members running around.
