Let's have a positive thread.

Since so much negativity here.. i'd thought i would try this.

Name what made you love the game. this is actually aimed at mostly FFXI people. from the changes, but of course i am not saying no one can name them.

I'll start of course.

I actually enjoy being able to attack other enemies after claimed, i thought that was a good additon, so people don't fight over claims and everyone can benefit from the kill with item drops/exp. as opposed to the CFH system 11 had where you got a whole lot of nothing for killing the mob.

2nd:I LOVE the detailed accessories shown, your characters rings/bands/earrings/ are all displayed, something that i wished 11 had when i played it..

The very comical dialog some NPCs say, mainly during fates.

My favorite one: "Sit your poxy arse down!"

Now show me what you like.

This! I loved it the first time I noticed and still do. I never saw that in any other mmo and I played a lot!

1- I love how SE actually listens to the players as you can see by the replies on these forums.

I don't have time right now to be typing more but there are a lot of things I really like about this game :)

Kinda hard to be positive considering all the junk we have to go through to just get the game to work correctly (especially if you play on PS3), but I'll try.

I love the new dungeon designs. 1.0's dungeon design was fairly straightforward in that you hardly ever interacted with anything, and bosses were just the general tank and spank with no flavor thrown in to break up the monotony.

Now, however, we have fun dungeon layouts with a clear goal to completion that doesn't just involve "run to the end and kill the boss." I believe the one I had the most fun with was the level 20 dungeon (won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't done it yet) but what I remember most about it was the mini-boss fight and that you could not kill him in a "conventional" way, the dungeon layout even lets you know what you need to do to kill him without stating the obvious.


Duty Finder, while flawed, is also a nice addition to the game. I don't have to beg my Free Company to come help me complete content that I'm behind on. =)

The game is a masterpiece, even with these little flaws.

What I am GOING to like is that now everyone is going to be paying to play, this should help greatly with how much RMT spam we are seeing. Other than that I love most aspects of the game, the funny dialogue is realy great too. Gets me laughing.

I like having a decent mmo on my PS3 and soon the PS4.

Immersion, story, fun times. I thought that the dungeon finder would be a nightmare, but it's not that bad, because parties last over an hour in there, it's not a 30min thing. Still, i wish they had non-instanced zones for grinding in a party. Who knows though.

The lack of positive threads is only because when you're having fun, there's nothing to complain about :P
