3102 and then suspension

anyone get this? SE says that i was suspended due to RMT which is completely and utterly false. i didn't sell nor buy gil at anytime in this game nor the many other MMO's i've played throughout the years.

i played 9/9 before work just to turn in a few quests then went to work, even ordered a security token right after logging. i came home and got the 3102 error and the same thing next morning. i set up a ticket to have my character kicked from the server (which is still an open ticket). Checked on the ticket later and account was suspended.

had a chat with a rep and they said the only thing available is to have my account investigated. apparently, there is no telling when this "investigation" will conclude. anyone have this problem and get it resolved or am i SOL?

Your account was hacked and the hacked account was then caught either doing Portgathering or Gilshouting (likely Gilshouting).

Sadly until their investigation proves your IP and that of the RMT user are different, you will likely remain banned. I'm sorry this hppened to you, but if you weren't using a secure password, or using the same log-in credentials on multiple sites (don't trust any forum but the official and maybe xivnation) then it could be your information was sold.

If you get your character back, your best bet is a server tansfer so that you can get unblacklisted.

I didn't have this exact issue. But my account was hacked yesterday and I received an email about suspicious activity on the account, and was informed they temporarily suspended it. After changing my password and going through the steps in the email, my characters (which had been deleted) were restored. Sounds like the difference between your situation and mine is that whoever hacked me appears to have sold all my stuff sent me Gil somewhere and deleted the characters. Where as whoever hacked you maybe used your account to actually perform a rmt transaction or not mining or something, thus creating the need for an investigation.
