another healer role class

As it stands now we only have 2 healer class ,and in one is not available until 30 i say make another healer class that you can start as.

I'd like to note that Arcanist can heal perfectly with no issues through the first 3 dungeons.

Im guessing the new healer will. Be a dancer. There been clues to it like minfilia Outfit. Ii bet they will use a dagger. Arcanist not a healer.

Unfortunately the game agrees with you. Which is frustrating when I have put all my arcanist stats into Mind because I am going to be a scholar and then have to wait 2 hours in queue as dps when I WANT to heal and my heal spell is just as good as the conjurer one early on. Like Raichvent said, the first three dungeons are perfectly doable as an arcanist healer and it's kind of foolish that you can't play as a healer on your way to unlocking a healer.

I've healed the first 3 as a Thaumaturge cross-classing Cure as well. That doesn't mean that THM is a healer; it means that those dungeons are an introduction to party play and as such are very easy. It's a strange game design that you need to spend so much time as a DPS in order to play a healer, but that does not make Arcanist into a healer, even if you dump all your points into Mind.

No, what we need is another tank class. THERE ARE NO TANKS ANYWHERE QQ.


The current tank classes are just simply... boring. No interesting skills, and the armor isn't that great looking. The only reason I see people tanking is for the instant ques, otherwise they would be DPS. We need another tank class, or they just need to make the current tanks more interesting. Their skills look unoriginal and bland.

Yes, but for a Thaumaturge to heal you need cross-class abilities, whereas Arcanists get a direct heal with the same potency as the conjurer's direct heal spell. And for the first three dungeons nothing else is required. There are few enough healers queued up as it is. There are few enough healers who queue up as it is. They've forced the ones who decided to be a scholar to have to queue as a dps. It's far easier to just level conjurer up to 30 as well than to deal with the hassle, but it shouldn't be necessary.

Wrong we need more healers, the reason there is not enough of Tanks is because they get yelled at alot in get no respect, Who want to play a class to get yelled at not me.

I think if they release another healer/support class it would most likely be a Green Mage, right?
