Enmity from Esuna
Is there a lot of enmity behind using Esuna? I had a lot of threat pull issues last night especially when casting Esuna, so I'm wondering if anyone's come across this.
Using only esuna I managed to pull single target threat off a paladin, multiple times, and spent most of the fight in the orange meter.
The story behind my question:
Now I'm under the impression that this tank was just bad, my pocket tank stood behind me to watch what moves he was using, and he thought something was off (hard to tell)
But throughout Aurum Vale I noticed the tank lost threat a lot, I had to sleep and knock back a lot of targets. I blew it off to perhaps him not knowing the best ways too grab AoE threat on Pally since it's tougher for them than Warrior (but possible, I never have things go after me when my partner tanks).
What started scaring me is that even on single target pulls and the first two bosses I was consistently in the orange pushing red as opposed to the usual green, sometimes skirting yellow.
On the final boss he was just incapable of getting out of bad breath, so I was spamming esuna and would wind up pulling hate I was hardly curing and still sitting in the orange and red on the meter.
I couldn't believe it was my healing pulling hate, because the first round I'd only given out 1 maybe 2 cures. I always stoneskin before pulls, and I used Eye for an Eye early, since I knew I was having threat troubles. I was avoiding regens, I never touched medica, I stuck to cure, cure II and esuna.
We actually wound up beating the last boss by me just letting the tank die because he had so many debuffs and wasn't grabbing the fruit so he got one shot, and the monk bard and I handled the boss just fine.

I actually had this very same issue recently; it was because the Paladin didn't have their oath buff on (the one that increases Enmity gen.) after that run I always made sure to check before giving the a-okay to pull. I don't think Esuna gen's a lot of Enmity compared to Regen or Cure's.
I could be wrong but I feel like the highest to lowest Enmity is as such:
Cure 3 (If 3 targets are healed)
Magicka
Cure 2
Sleep (I forgot what it's actually called)
Regen
Stone 2
Protect
Cure
Esuna
Stone 1
Stoneskin
I haven't noticed any Enmity gen. with using the self-only buffs (The Speed one, and Divine Seal) it's either there or so minimal that it doesn't matter.

I triple checked for their oath buff it was the right one, and I think you mean medica where you say magicka. also I'd put Medica II up above Cure III or remove Cure II all together since I never use it.
Based on your list I stayed way at the bottom of those spells with cure and esuna and stoneskin. I'm not sure yet where eye for an eye sits in threat since I've only recently acquired it.
Sleep = Repose, I just say sleep anyways though :)

Filter your combat log and see what you tank was doing, in term of his skill rotation.

I'll do that in future, it was late, and I just was confused and went to bed.
My pocket tank are going to go do some threat tests on morbols when we can get back to playing the end of this week, I'll report any findings we have.

i have noticed emnity being pulled with esuna also during a fight.. rather odd. but try to just wait for the tank to get two flashes/overpowers off first unless esuna is in dire need.
