HM Ifrit "Bad Luck" Support Group/Therapy Session

(Note: this is not a complaint, just venting out my terrible luck)

Hello, my name is Rayko, I am a Paladin, and I am currently on my 40th run of HM Ifrit without ever so much as seeing my weapon drop.

Ifrit must be a very intellectual primal because I have seen him drop 25 books, 10 cudgels, 3 battleaxes, 1 bow, and 1 harpoon. :confused:

What's up with these loot tables? Is it just me or is anyone else seeing a trend in their drops?

I must be just really unlucky. Starting to think this game hates me.

BONUS:
*full streak of "You obtain nothing" on a 90+% success nodes (everyone's favorite!) :p
*frequent NQ synthesis on 90+% HQ success rate

Paladin here as well. Garuda hates me as much as Ifrit hates you. I think swords are a lie to keep tanks in duty finders during the tank shortage. #SEconspiracy

If it's any consolation, I also never did get the sword from ifrit in 1.0, after about ~100 clears.

Been spamming Moogle FOREVER on 1.0 and never saw my Mog Wand ( T ^ T

I don't know if I should be happy or sad when moogle is rereleased on 2.0. ( > . > ;

When do people understand the concept RANDOM ?

Its the same in every fckin game, ppl state; "meh I've been there a million types and seen X 10000 times and Y 2 times, but not my Z".

ITS RANDOM AND ITS NOT BROKEN.

33 garuda hm killed this week alone to finally get my fist weapon.

I'm worried because I think I used up all my luck on my Ifrit drop. My very first DF run for Ifrit the sword dropped and the other PLD already had it. It was awesome, but knowing karma and this game, I doubt I'll see another useful drop from anything for a month or so.

Yea it blows. I mean I know your frustration.

But what do you suggest, another token system?

Where was there the suggestion of something being broken? Even the thread title acknowledged that this is just "bad luck." Chill, mang. >_>

(And take note that 3/4 of the posts are mentioning swords. Random is random, I know, but you gotta admit that if it looks like a fish, smells like a fish, and swims like a fish... then something's fishy!)
