Expand Chat Log

I am on PC, and sometimes I want to expand my chat log so I can see conversation I missed. I could just grab the corner and resize it but I'm lazy and don't want to have to shrink it to the right size again each time I want to close it.

On PS3 you can press a few buttons on the controller to full screen the chatbox and then shrink it again and I was wondering if it's possible to do that on the PC.

If it's not normally possible can somebody tell me what the Xbox controller options are to do this? Then I could try to use keybinds to work it on this menu.
