Defense Stance Chocobo is holding aggro

My chocobo is level 6 defense stance and he does an OK job of taking a few hits before I pull ahead of him in aggro. I bet he will be alright at 10. We'll see shortly

mines only rank 3, but it can hold aggro on me when it actually decides to use choco drop a few times in a row. it seems like the problem with chocobos lies in their AI, sometimes my chocobo will go nuts and use a bunch of abilities really fast and it's awesome, but then they'll go long stretches of not using anything and being worthless. their ai needs some optimization.
