Own PS3. Want PC.

I own the PS3 version and all I want to do is get the PC one. Is there a way to do this even though the digital sales are at a halt?

check gamestop close to you and if they dnt have it and one dose 60 miles away from you ask they to sell you an gift card and have them give the gift car onver the phone to the store 60 miles away to buy the game and get the code over the phone and they right it down and give 2 you and your good so youll be playing it while w8ting for it to come to the store but this only works if you have done beata phaze 4 and you can play after the updates

I'm pretty sure all you would need is the code, not to have been in any beta. I had an extra copy of 1.0 from 3 years ago, just gave my friend the code and he entered it and DL'd the game no problem, having never touched any form of FFXIV ever before that. Interesting strategy with the buying Gift Card, and using it at a remote store to just get the code, though!

Is the physical copy of the PC version the same as the digital?

There is no difference account wise. So yes.

My bad I meant in cost. lol. Isn't it more expensive?

Same cost, but we should find out tomorrow if digital sales are back on. That or another long maintenance coming mid week to make more adjustments to servers to test one more time before resuming.

But I already made the switch the first Fri after release, just found a game stop near my place that had a copy and installed and went to mag station and added the code to me account and was done.
