Name changes?

Im wondering if there is an option to change your characters name. When I was creating my current character I saw this on the Playguide on the Lodestone.

I assumed that that meant that, say you decide that you dont like the randomly generated name or that youve thought of an actual name that you want,t hat are free to change it whenever. I havent seen or noticed an option to change it though. Did I just interpret this wrong, or is it something ill unlock later. Maybe I need to submit a ticket in order to change it.
Also, if I did interpret this wrong, does anyone know when theyll add in an option to allow payed name changes?

That just meant you can change it at that point before you commit to the character if you don't like the random name. As far as I know, there are no plans to allow name changes once you start playing the character..

No name changes after the character has been created.
What that statement is actually referring to is if you disliked the name the generator gave you - you may change it again at that particular time.
