SE, we need a cycle targeting function for party members...

It's nice FF14 allows you to cycle through enemy targets but it would also be nice for people like me to be able to cycle through party members as well. Rather then having to take my hands off the mouse or arrow keys and hit the key for the party member in question. Not everyone uses WADS some of us grew up in the time before WADS so we have entirely different setup. Even if you do use WADS it's still alot faster to use the mouse wheel and scroll through party members then having to take your hand off your movement keys and hit a number or function key.

Please add a target cycle function for party members. Pretty please SE?

it's called Crossbar on Controller
or F1-F9 on keyboard

You can already set up preferences so that you only cycle thru party members; I don't understand why you're asking for this to be added.

Works great on my gamepad.

That's not target cycling that's target selecting. Two different things. You obviously didn't read the whole post.

Cycle enemy = left + right
Cycle party = up + down

It is in there, waiting for you to set up to your personal use in your setting. I believe default is set to numpad key.

You can also set addition key to bind targetting type to party only / enemy etc etc..

Yeah I have this set to page up/down >_> Go look in your keybinds

For controller you can customize any 4 cycle settings you want.

I just want a filter for pets.

I am on the pc and personally for healing, I don't like the soft targeting system it's just another button I have to press. I would like to see a hard targeting option added that's similar to up and down on the Dpad only it actually selects the party members not a circle thing where I miss my cures cause i was doing more then 1 spell on someone other then my targeted tank and i forgot to press my key-bound select button. which is f currently.
i have my "d-pad" as shift + wasd

Numpad 8 cycles through party members.
