Anyone at rank 10 chocobo yet?

I have min at about 5.5. Over the past two days since I decided to acquire him I have put in no less than 27 hours of only grinding. Went from 38-almost 40 on my character from it. I put all points in tank and he is holding somewhat moderate aggro unless I go all out. He's good at occupying an add if i'm already fighting something. His choco kick does about 90 damage and his auto attack about 60.

Anyone at 10, or 6+? Wondering if he eventually becomes a reputable tank.

I'm lvl 50 and I've used my chocobo in almost all open world since i unlocked him at 30(unless i'm trying to queue for something) and he's lvl...2. The exp gain on them sucks, and i understand if leveling them is meant to be challenging. Except, they're pointless. After you finish most of the quests there's no reason to even use them anymore and i have to put a ton into grinding to level him? For what?

I spec'd mine for tanking but as a healer, he can't keep aggro after the first time i heal him...like many bad tanks. I'm gonna keep using him but I haven't found a reason to since you can't use while in queue, can't use in solo content and can't use in dungeons. Although, to be fair, I do recall them saying chocobos would be allowed to fill dungeon player spots later. I'm not sure if that's still true but if so then they might have use. Except they don't dodge red zones and don't take less dmg from it...nvm. they're useless in dungeons.

Exactly, it's useful to use them while leveling other low lvl classes...until you can't mount up...

I would like to see the ability to hop on and off them without having to dismiss and resummon them by using a green. So annoying when trying to level.

Almost Rank 7 now! He still sucks, but i might dip into a few other trees and keep him in free stance now that I have the crit bonus from defender. Maybe Def and Atk trees up to both crit bonuses? Who knows.
