[Forum Suggestion] Post ratings/"Like" button

This is a simple idea I just got reminded of while reading a post in the general forum. I know there are some issues with the system, but in general (and especially with topics which request the dev team's finite time) I think being able to highlight particularly good and logical posts would have more Pros than Cons.

This generally has one of two implementations: either a "Like" button where posts with more Likes can have attention drawn to them, or a "thumbs up/down" option where we can both rate up good posts and rate down bad ones.

I think it would help keep the discourse a little more civil if we could rate down particularly inflammatory posts, myself, but of course it's up to the admins to decide.
