How about being able to edit your LS roster at anytime from anywhere no matter who is offline or online. Doesn't seem that difficult to do and is questionable why we didn't have it in the first place. And how about Message of the Day for people who use your linkshell.
Agreed! It'd be nice to free up some of the spaces taken up by those grey zombies who've quit playing ages ago.
This is an excellent idea. I would like to add additions to a linkshell such as linkshell level (by doing things such as inviting players or fighting monsters with the linkshell equiped you earn experience for your shell).
Leveling up a linkshell would give you new features such as an optional linkshell bank, and further levels would open up more storage space.
Being able to set a message, and even an in game calendar to schedule events would be excellent.

Bingo an ability for the LS leader(s) to have, our LS had to be destroyed and then rebuilt (loosing many members in the process) because of not having the remote boot in this game. What were they thinking...oh wait they didnt. I really hope that this team improves this game, so far they have made little steps in doing so. But this ability would be very very nice to have with sooooo many players that quit this game one would think that this would've been implemented long ago.
Yes please, we've had our LS since the start of beta and have had to break and re-make 3 times because we can't edit our roster of players who've quit. This is something that should have been in the game at the start. FF11s LS controls were pretty damn poor... instead of taking a step ahead you took several steps back in this aspect.
I need to boot all the people that quit.
Don't make me remake the linkshell and hand out pearls to everyone again...

We've already broken and had to remake our shell twice due to inactive players. Please, please add more controls.

I, too, was a little bamboozled to learn that you can't kick players unless they're logged in and standing on your head. My first thought was probably the same as everyone else's: How do you get rid of inactive players?
Unlike other aspects of the games that have both haters and supporters, I honestly think if there was one aspect of the game that can unanimously be agreed upon it is that the inability to remove members is just.........wrong.

A couple of other nice things would be nice to see would be a linkshell log-in message (after all, it is was the SE team uses to notify us of important happenings like downtime, right?) and a time-stamp that shows when the individual last logged in. (note: one could argue that you can use "history" for that, but if you have casuals in your shell who only get 1-3hrs per week, sometimes their history will not update for weeks to months). And MOOGLE MAIL! :D (for funsies and convenience)
