Server delay and casting

I assume this is a bug .
Every time I cast I have a huge delay.

The result is that when a cast is 0.5 to 0.3 second from being done it will still finish.
I can move at this period and my character will finish the cast.
I've compared this to my previous mmo's and it seems not normal, some one made a very clear video about it that explains it better than I do.

The WOW part has the person casting with 110 to 200 ms.
When I check my own latency in this game it's a steady 110 to 150.
While having 80 ms with pinging the server and a 14ms pre hop to NA and 80 after up to the server.
I run with a steady 60FPS and dungeons and have a 160Mb/s cable connection.

I've never experienced this type of delay anywhere else, I can connect to WOW/Tera/SWTOR right at this moment and can cancel any cast at any given time and it will not go off.


This isn't happening in ARR at all, is this a bug or intended?

It is reported by many people. Have not seen an official reply, though we did report that problem during beta several times. Makes getting out of the red somewhat complicated at times.
Some kind of explanation that sounded good was about the server and client not synchronizing or something like that.
