Bump! I'm also curious about this.
Why the limit? On one hand we can use any font and tinker with a plethora of settings, fonts, colors etc., but then w get a 1000 letter restriction.
Where is the logic in this?
In other words - the rules are dumb to the point of hilarity.
Wonderful.
There's also a restriction on how many times you can post on the forums in a day, based on your active character's level.

I know, right, my posts are all on this section or technical support, lol, mostly this, as it is one of the only areas I can post in.
Ah well...I figure it just means that their staff is working elsewhere, so they don't actually have moderators to run this place yet.
I'd already seen that thread link before @Jaminos
Its very weird though.
I don't believe I've ever seen a forum where you can't post in 98% of it from day one- this would be the only one I've found like that in 13 years of being online.
