mushroom crab

so im trying to catch the mushroom crab in east shroud 25x,y20. i know i have to mooch with the HQ common sculpin but when i do it tells me that the bait isnt suited for the area. Do i have to do it while it is raining or something? anyone else having this problem if not?

yes! I have this problem too bug i'm on gilgamesh. i have opened a ticket and an admin submitted the info to the developers team.

I'm having the same issue

There's a couple of comments on XIVDB claiming that the key is foggy weather. I can't vouch for it myself since fog hasn't felt like rolling out in all the time I've been spending in the Sylphlands. ><

Foggy Weather, and mooch. I just did it...and didn't even know ppl were having issues. But can confirm, Mooching with HQ common Sculpin during foggy weather=Mushroom Crab.

I can confirm that it requires fog, i got the "glitch" then fog rolled in several minutes later and I tried again and caught it.
