Where can my friends purchase this game at?

One of my friends would like to purchase a copy of FFXIV to play over the weekend, however is unable find a retail store that has any copies left. I told him about the square store and Amazon to get a key but it looks like the freeze is still in effect. Are there any vendors out there currently selling keys?

If you didn't see the information on the Lodestone, it looks like they are going to monitor the servers this weekend and likely restart sales at the start of next week as long as everything is running smoothly.

Probably not the answer you want to hear but your friend will have no trouble after that point. Online retailers are pretty much going to be dead ends right now, I believe any new players coming in currently are ones that are finding physical copies.

The sooner the better in terms of the new worlds they implemented...I dropped in on one of them to play a bit and for most of the day their was literally less than 150 people on the entire server
