Summoner wouldnt be so bad if animations for attacks...

Weren't so cloned and boring to use. At least SCH has some flare to it when they get their healing skills, summoners use maybe just over 3 different animations at most by lv 50? Boring, dot watching job is how i feel when playing it. Why does so much work go into Melee and archer skills but none in caster classes?

Just wanted to voice my feelings on the boring indifferent animations for my class eh.

You should see a black mage mmm fire 3, blizz 3 and flare. Oh and holy blinds me. :X

Because when the melee classes perform a skill the animation includes performing the skill and the skill hitting. When a caster performs a skill its the casting of the spell and then the spell effects, like ruins little flying ball or bios gassy explosion.

Least you do burst dps :P

I forgot to mention, those are boring too. Different from eachother, but BORING.

What settings are you playing at. Something to keep in mind (many people hardly do) in this generation of MMO's there are frequent situations where 20+ players are going to be in a tight area fighting. In FFXIV thats fates, you have to limit spell effects and animations so when you have like 40 people all doing something your computer doesnt call social services on you.

I don't mind my summoner animations, but the archer ones really, really bug me. It's like the lower body has not connection to the upper. I really like the animations in Tera for the Elin archers (never really tried the other races with it), it's a bit over the top, but they get the whole body into animations for things. Just seems so odd here, and bugs me.
