+1 Your relic or get your Valor/Warrior chest and etc first?

I'm stuck between getting my relic stuff to +1 or splashing on the Valor.

What would improve tanking better?

Look at the stat numbers, figure out what would give you the most improvement given your gear. Do you struggle with enmity? Take those things into consideration and pick the option that gives you the most improvement. When you can choose which upgrade you get you should always prioritize those which give the largest advantage if the cost of acquiring them is equal.

Assuming you mean mythology as there's nothing called Valor in this game as far as I know.
And AF2 gear is better than getting relic +1, it's actually very obvious if you compare the stats as Vanidin said.

The upgrade from regular relic to relic +1 is very small compared to the upgrade you get from the other gear.

NVM thought you were confusing WoW terms with the FF14 terms, my bad.

I reckon I will just go for the gear, it would be more the allure of a glowing weapon than a stat boost I if went for a +1

Although the glow is sweet, and they're probably not at T4 either.

Wait until your DPS get +1 Relics. If you can hold enmity off of that, get the Valor chest. If you can't, get the weapon.
