Completed duty and spoke to NPC for reward. Waited to get removed from the instance and got the black screen..... then the client crashed. Every time I try to log back into the world with my character the client crashes.

Ok ... bump. Tried logging every hour on the hour and still the same. Made new character and its 100% fine logging in and out. I guess this will be a case of getting back to me in two weeks. I'm glad I haven't started a sub for this game.
I did see a lot of posts here in anger with the issues in early access, but this is too far into release for so many issues with this game client. For anyone to have to wait for over a week to have an issue even acknowledged is ridiculous.

Hello! I'm currently consulting with various parties as to how to handle your particular predicament. I understand that there have been a lot of delays in getting to your issue, and I apologize for that. Please bear with us a bit longer while we try to sort this out. Thank you!

Hello again! Just for clarity, can I get the error code that you're getting when you try to log in? That will help us isolate exactly what's happening to your character. Thanks!
-
No Error code, just a simple crash when trying to log into that character. No other character causes this. It seems to me that this is similar to an issue in the beta where people were getting stuck in instances or black screens. It's nothing to do with drivers or my system, I'm afraid it's your system that's flawed.

One thing that may assist you in your thorough and consistent investigation is this C++ Runtime R6025.
This has been happening to myself and a lot of other people while porting to atherytes. This is most probably linked.
I'm sure a simple solution would be to move my character to another area, see if that might help. As for the runtime error, I'm sure SE will be as agile in response to that issue.

Hello again! We've previously reported the R6025 error, so that investigation is currently underway, as far as I'm aware. I'm going to go ahead and push your info through to the dev team. Hopefully we can get your sorted out as soon as possible. Thanks again!
