Same bug, same world.
It's very annoying since it means we can't have our Black Mage job. Please fix this!

Ragnarok, confirming this as well. Can't finish this quest cause the NPC is broken.
Same issue on Rag, also there's a duplicate of this thread @ http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...81#post1261781 suggest a mod merge if possible.
Same issue on Hyperion
Needs a bump, quest still unable to do on Hyperion, no interaction with npc when attempt made.
Been broke a while now, preventing advancement, please hot fix ;)

Did it a few days ago and worked fine for me on Phoenix
