I am a healer, therefor by definition I pay it forward when I play everyday. I can't tell you how many times just questing I have healed players that I saw were struggling (and give rez to people that ask in chat if I'm moderately close). Most are very appreciative and give me a bow or a thank you. I love being a healer, some of us just have the personality for it. Just try and remember though, when somebody dies it's not always are fault, actually it rarely is, but I don't mind taking the blame anyway. And while were at it can you please "pay it forward" to me and give me your Swiftcast ability so I don't have to level a Thaumaturge to 26, thanks...LOL

Sometimes I queue up for the 15-17 dungeons as a gladiator with my conjurer girlfriend- even though we both finished them all over a week ago.

I don't quit an instance if it goes badly the first time, but instead stick it out and provide constructive advice.

Whenever I can, I answer people's questions on the /sh channel; and in DF dungeons, I always try to explain if someone asks something I can help with.
Also, since I'm a tank, I often go with my FC mates to help them get into dungeon faster, especially for the main story quest of course (something I consider not to be "nice" but normal within a FC); but when doing that, I always welcome them and others to take the time to watch and enjoy cutscenes. I know I didn't like it when others pushed me to skip through them (especially the end, epic part of the story).
Overall, it is my contention that if we all teach each other, and help others on the way, then it's better for our community as a whole, because in time it will have a globally positive effect. And I love ripples! :)

Whenever I pass by someone that seems to be struggling through some battle I try to help them by healing. Or if I find someone dead by the way I raise them.

Some folks were struggling with giant marborls in central shroud. Hopped off my ride and helped take em out so they could finish their quest.

I always heal nearby people that need it - and if I accidently aggro their mob I'll run it back to them so I don't inconvenience them ^^~

Some guy was really confused about how to do the swimwear event so I just gave him 70 wet bomb ash in the mail. He appreciated it and offered his assistance with any quests in the future.
