I have no reason to leave a city at level50
I currently have no reason to ever leave a major city at level50. I can instantly port to any dungeon I feel like, fates aren't worth doing at all, I don't have a use for seals. The only time I leave is to farm some material, gather some material, fish, or turn in craft leves. Now that I'm 50 alchemy/cooking I never have a reason to leave for leves.
The best way to soulbind gear is running castrum, a dungeon. The best way to make gil is by soulbinding gear and selling materia.
The best way to gear my character is dungeons. The best way to progress my character is dungeons. The only challenging content is dungeons.
There's huge beastmen strongholds that I can literally just mount through and ignore all aggro because they'll never dismount of me kill me. No danger, no adventure. Lame.
It's really lame, such a beautiful amazing look world going to complete waste from no reason to go outside. No way to progress my character outside of instantly ported to dungeons and no content besides boring zerg fates and trash mobs I can kill effortlessly.
I want more outdoor content, it makes me sad that this game was designed like this. Why put so much time in effort into making these breath-taking zones?
