Topic title sums it up pretty well. I'm just short of finishing the main story (would have had it last night, but then the maintenance had to pop up), and I've heard that the only way to continue forward past this point is to run one dungeon over 60 times in order to get gear to continue with any further content. Is this actually true? I'm aware that there's a lot of complaining going on, but is the number really that high?
If so, would I be best off just quitting the game now? 60 runs seems like far too long for a single dungeon to be welcome for, and from what I've gathered, there's nothing to be gained but the 60 run countdown during that period. A 60+ hour checkstop just doesn't sound appealing to me in the slightest, and looks a lot more like plain old work than anything else. Perhaps the game just isn't for me past this point?

Yup! There's nothing to except the 3 primal fights and farm tomestones since the bridge to Bahamut's Coil (Crystal Tower) won't be out until November. Congrats on rushing to level 50.
On less sarcastic note you could level another class, craft, etc in between grinding to relieve some monotony.
I said it with a touch of sarcasm. I would suggest getting your gear in order and trying the hard mode Primal battles. However, I am correct in stating that other then those 3 battles and AK there's not much to do currently for max level jobs.Quote:

You get 120(80T1, 40T2) tokens per run of amdapor, just going off memory i think you need 5425 tokens total to fill every slot. its more like 45 runs, if you run nothing but AK that is when you're not T2 capped, when you are, run castrum. Also a total full set of i70 isn't really needed the I60 stuff, isnt too far off it.
