Lancer LvL.15 main story quest wont show up! Please help

So this is ruining my experience. I'm a lancer that's 1500 exp from level 17. I have done all the story quests up till level 15. Killed the masked magic guy, did the festival with the mask where i was the emysary thing. Did all the guildhest up to level 15 and 3 guildleves. Still the level 15 main story quest has not appeared. Am i missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!!!!! It being my first mmo and im stuck in the tutorial it bummed

I may be wrong, but maybe it's at a different location than you are looking right now? I had this same issue quite often actually..

The above is a link to the sequence of Main Scenario Quests. The last one you said you did was the festival one where you wore a mask, correct? That was "Renewing The Covenant", meaning your next Main Scenario Quest should be "The Gridanian Envoy". To initiate that quest, you need to talk to Kan-E-Senna again. She'll be in that little cove ("Lotus Stand") that you found her in earlier (the entrance to which should be somewhere near the Conjuror's Guild, if my memory serves).

Seeing as you haven't been able to find the level 15 quest marker on your map or anything, it seems likely to me that this is your next quest, since (to the best of my knowledge) the maps don't show that little cove.

I was stuck in something like this. Went to the quest listings, looked at the last story quest and clicked on it so it shows to the right. I think only so many are displayed on the right so when I did other site quests, it somehow got bumped. I had to visit a different city (Limsa) to continue my story quest.. I actually did ALL side quests in my home area and was wondering why no more showed up there. So, check your story quest listing...

I was told it was in bentbranch meadows. I've looked all over the central shroud, same with gridania. I've even went out to all the other shrouds.

Ok so i did finish Renewing the covenant, But Now i cant get back into the lotus stand to start The gridanian envoy. Did i mess something up? You have to talk to someone to get back into the lotus stand but theres no one

The person you have to talk to in order to get back to the Lotus Grove is a male Conjurer that stands right next to the Conjurer's Guild's Aethyrite. He should, of course, have the storyline quest "!" icon on him.

If the NPC that transports you into the Lotus Stand isn't there / isn't usable, it suggests to me that you've actually already completed at least that step of that quest. The next step in that quest is to go back to Miounne in that big main building at the entrance to Old Gridania, near the Aetheryte Plaza. Immediately following the Miounne step, you head downstairs and talk to some NPCs down there in order to board the airship and fly over to Limsa Lominsa. The stairs are on your left if you're standing in front of and facing Miounne.

Have you been to Ul'Dah and Limsa Lominsa via airship yet? If yes, then you've probably already finished The Gridanian Envoy, and your next quest is Call Of The Sea (Gridania). If you haven't used the airship yet, then you're either still working on The Gridanian Envoy, or you haven't started it yet.


And just to be 100% sure (I just want to make sure all bases have been covered), have you gone into your Journal and checked to see if you have The Gridanian Envoy as an active or completed quest?

Actually, if you'll go into the completed storyline quests in your journal and read off the last one listed there, that will tell us what your next one should be and where you need to go to get it.
