30 minute AFK Timer to Short

Honestly, if you think about it. You may get up to go and do something that is 30 minutes to an hour, but you have every intention of coming back.
Now I know they made more adjustments to the Duty Finder, but before, it would take me 40-70 minutes to get into Castrum. So I would go AFK for the next 30 minutes. (rr, food, chores, life stuff). Now I may have to sit there, for the whole time, walking about.

I'm not saying I disagree with the implementation. But I would like to see it increased to an hour. Maybe even make it like FFXI, where you can set the time, or even turn it off.

I don't mind 30 minutes myself, I feel like if you're afk for 30 minutes while in a queue then you will likely miss it anyway.

Is what you're doing so important that you can't go back to the computer and jump for a sec then leave and get back to it?

30 minutes is what most games have. It should be more than enough to do what you need to do, and if it isn't....is it too hard to come back, move yourself a bit then continue what you are doing?
Can't believe people are whining because the afk timer is 30 minutes.....

Just log back in you fool. What are you scared of? Getting the 1017 error? Oh wait... According to you whiners that's been fixed (it hasn't, I can confirm that) so how much effort is it to log back in?

its simple if you need to be afk for 30 minutes you should log off... Don't move and go back afk defeats the purpose, log out do what you need to do and there will be available space...

I completely disagree...30 minutes is a fair number. It is not unreasonable to ask you check on your character once every 30 minutes to confirm you are still playing...

cant you just make a move or jump around 25mins or so to prevent to be dced? you certainly can't completely afk if you are waiting for something, there is no guarantee that a queue won't pop sooner then usual. not that hard to just go to your computer from time to time to check on things >.<

if you really afk more then 30mins without even checking your toon good are the chances that you will miss the queue anyway..

Yes, which is why this stupid thing is simply a placebo, it's trivially defeated by anyone who wants to. Those who've been whining about it will now learn it achieves nothing noticeable.

ofc it achieves something, if you can get back to your game around 25min or so you are playing the game, even if it is afk to wait in a queue you are still playing it. but it completely prevents players from being afk while going to work/school or over night for no reason at all.
