Possible Solution to RMT Spam

With all the RMT spam in /shout and /yell

I was thinking on how to solve the spam issue, its simple. Put a cool down on the use of /shout and /yell of 1-3 mins, this will allow players to block the idiot RMT spammers and not get like 40 spam msg's before the spammer is blocked.

as well as having a cooldown on the use of /shout and /yell, restricting the use of /shout and /yell to level 10. it may not stop the RMT spam but it would slow down the frequency of the spamming.

i also noticed that RMT spammers that i have reported and blocked 3 days ago have not yet been stopped as i noticed a couple of them still in game yesterday spamming the shouts.

the problem at the moment is that my blacklist is sitting at 193/200 and only 3 of those charaters have been deleted and the other 190 are still active as far as i know. when my blocklist is full i either:-
1. turn of shout, yell and tell or get fed up
2. stop playing till there is a sollution
3. never enter a city till there is a sollution

The easiest and simplest solution is to just enable an anti-spam feature like the one you get in wow through an addon called BadBoy.

It blocks everything related to gold and website links in the chat by using a word filter system. They just need to add gil/www. .com @ /service and so on.

Such a feature imho should be a standard feature in any mmorpg.

It's sickening the way they let these scumbags ruin their game by not doing anything to prevent them from spamming.
