Account suspended then banned?

Hi guys! I was playing fine a few days back and then my Gil started to go missing to 0.

Happened twice and then fair enough it was suspended because I assume someone was hacking my account or it was the bug.

Then I was accused of selling Gil and I can't access me account? I bought the collectors edition to enjoy the game more but now I can't even play...

I have sent a few tickets in-game about the situation and I'm guessing that is what lead to the suspended account but I don't think being banned for a few days with no proof is very nice :(

You need to contact customer care over the phone.

If you got hacked twice, dont you start wondering something may be lurking on your computer?
I mean when I got hacked once on my Blizzard account years ago I freaked out, changed all my passwords, scanned thoroughly my computer and all the other fuss.
Turns out there was a breach on Blizzard side.
Oh and dont click on suspicious emails they cause that kind of problem too.

Well that is the thing I don't know If I was hacked or if it was the bug that took my Gil. I play many MMORPG's and such but my other accounts are fine? Calling them takes hours :(

better get started then the sooner you call the faster you get back into the game.

You also should be prepaired to wait at least a week. That's what they told me today. Kinda funny that I've never had a security issue in the 7 or so years of online gaming I've done. never been to an suspect sites on the PC I game on or replyed to any emails from SE. Also kinda funny that SE changes the security on the SE account management site the week that all these hacks start going down... I'm sure they won't admit to anything though, and we'll all be out a bunch of time/money.

I can't even find a number to call -_-.... I saw your post Joshuar, I don't understand how they can just ban our accounts out of nowhere and yet take forever to get back to us.

a bug that takes your gil? is that what chinese gold farmers are called these days? :p

Anyways, consider what typically happens when someone from a different IP region tries to access your account: account gets blocked and you get sent an email prompting you to reset your password before you get to log in.

(this may not be true for some people with a dynamic IP though. need further info on this.)

If that is the case though, they also got your email account.

Only reason why I think it's a bug is people with One-Time passwords have also lost Gil out of nowhere.

I've changed my password but It was banned because they said I was selling Gil.

If it's saying you were banned because you were selling Gil, it means that your account was most definitely hacked! Unless, there's something you're not telling us... :p
