New Servers Distribution Seems .. Interesting

So since launch the NA/EU server farms have had far more time with login queues and cases where no characters could be created on any or only a couple of servers, while the JP server farm for a long time rarely saw queues and even in recent days only a minority of servers had extended periods of time where character creation was locked.

With this background in mind I find it interesting SE has added FIVE JP servers and only THREE NA/EU, and none are marked (EU) .. note that I take this as significant since it the announcement of the actions take in last week's server updates one WAS marked as EU.

I wonder if anyone from SE would care to explain this interesting distribution of new server capacity.

Maybe it's based on what data they see on the servers rather than what we see here on forum and when trying to log in.
With the new worlds the JP datacenter has only 1 server more than the NA/EU datacenter.

The JP server load would be different during peak hours for EU/NA server peaks - I would assume that during JP peak their servers must get extremely crowded. Also, I would assume that JP players are less likely to select EU/NA servers than EU/NA players are to do the reverse, which would also increase server load on the JP servers.

Also, I know of a lot of AU/NZ players that call the JP servers home due to the idea of lower latency.

Yeah I'm AUS and prob moving to a Japan server when transfers come up, the game is a bit unforgiving lag wise (getting out of circles has a HUGE delay on US servers).
