Something nice among all the negative posts...

Albeit some exceptions as there always is some, you guys are great people to play with and I hope to meet even more of you in game. No I'm not trying to fluff it too much, I've played some mmos ranging from f2p to p2p/b2p and generally speaking, people were greedy, looking out for themselves and rather egocentric. You guys and gals are all lovely people. (:

90% of all people who play MMO's are degenerates. Final Fantasy Fans have been the coolest people I've met (also some of the most elitest) its only going to get better when all the WoW kids go back to where they belong, there moms basement.

I've been playing on Phoenix and like I said, with some exceptions, people have been friendly, helpful and willing to come help me in an instance even if they are way over leveled for it. Sure I've across some jerks but everyone has been generally nice.

While this is true, we do clearly have conflicting crowds within the game right now. Not to mention the game itself is mixed; has fast grind fests that generate easy rewards (more WoW like), yet has parts that takes ages to bring up for sustainability (more FFXI like). Rarely do these mix so its not a wonder we are practically at war with each other till one ends up being focused on more.
