High Latency Tanking...
I'm asking because playing from Australia on a NA server, the ping is easily over 200 on avg. When it comes to dodging attacks, frontal, conal, aoe, I just can't seem to react fast enough.
e.g. In Brayflox's Longstop Aiatar, I only manage to avoid the frontal AOE maybe once every 10 times. Its frustrating as hell when the WHMs keep running out of MP and blaming me for not dodging the attacks, even after I keep telling them I am having lag issues. They can obviously see me trying to run out of the way.
While playing as WHM on Titan story quest, I countered the lag by running around the arena in circles while throwing out cures, just so I can get out of Landslide's range in time. Figured this out when Landslide kept knocking me off the arena every single time, even though I have moved out of the AOE lines.
So yeah, going from the WHM example above, are there similar things Tanks can do, while doing content that requires timing and positioning for successful runs?

When I'm lagging I normally tank right on top of the mob, , because frontal attacks start from the mobs center, it makes it easier to just move behind them.

What the above poster said. If that does not fix your issues you may want to consider playing a dps class since latency on a tank or healer will destroy a group. It's not fair, but that's the way it works.
