Camera auto zoom in

okay so don't know if anyone has talked about this, but the one thing that I hate with a passion about this game right now is how the camera auto zooms in. Now I play on a Laptop with a Gamepad, so when I'm in a Raid and if the ceiling is to low or an object next to me and camera touches it, it auto zooms in and stays zoomed it. Now for me to zoom out i know easiest is to scroll down with mouse but on my laptop that means swiping down on trackpad with 2 fingers. I'm a main tank so there alrdy has been a few times where this has cause me to die and in turn cause group to wipe.

Like if camera zooms in because of an object or ceiling low, fine but if shouldn't stay like that. For instance, in FFXI it would zoom in you camera but if you moved your camera around it will zoom back out to the distance you set it as. Honestly I hate that freaking camera cause of this!! I use Legacy Setting btw and I can't find a option that fixes this stupid problem...

don't hold the triggers down, so you're not targeting anything, and hold the LB down and pull back with the right thumbstick. hope that helps!

I think there is a key-combination to save your default zoom level if that might help. Don't remember what it is but look under keybindings in-game. As Tekaru says you can also zoom in/out with the gamepad using L1/RB+RS up/down. I find myself zooming in/out all the time when playing.
