Sub targeting - Spells
For game pad users and even those who prefer, I would like to request an option to allow sub targeting for abilities. For example: I am targeting my main tank as a healer and I want to stick a Bio 2 on the mob we are fighting, I would like to be able to select the option to cast Bio 2 and instead of getting the message "Unable to use ability on friendly targets" I want to be able to move my sub target over to Ifrit. While still main targeting my tank.
The same goes for cures, I want to select Cure, then select the target I want to use it on.
Eseentially I would like to select my ability then select the target I want to use it on, instead of selecting the target then selecting the ability.
Does anyone know if there is a way to do this, or is it not currently implemented?

I think <stnpc> doesn't work anymore, but the generic <st> might...
We really could use a working SubTarget system.
Failing that, you've got a few options:
(i) using /assist <t> and /target <lasttarget> (to target your TARGET's target, then flick back again). Easy and simple, but you can't actually control what they're targetting... so it might be better to make your tank your focus target, then use /assist <focus> for the first part.
(ii) using <mo> ("mouseover" - this will use abilities on whatever your mouse cursor is currently floating over). Gives more control, but requires a bit more work on your part and the screen UI can sometimes get in the way.
(iii) marking targets first and then using abilities on the marked targets (Lots of control and very fast. But can get very cumbersome macro-wise the more marks you use. Also, if the tank is already marking targets then you really don't want to confuse everyone by overwriting their mark with yours all the time...)

You can just use <tt>. Target of target.
