Is your date/time set correctly on your computer? Some people have had experience with bad CMOS batteries screwing up their certificates.
Why are you posting this here? What has it to do with SE? Your browser is having problems accessing a list that isn't maintained by SE? This in NO WAY has anything remotely to do with the security (or otherwise) of SE's servers.
Stop trying to scare people.
Thanks Mang, that was the first thing that crossed my mind and the first thing I tried.
Unfortunately it didn't work as it was originally on Square Enix's end (The certificate seems to have been updated today and I stopped getting these messages; Note, I haven't made any changes to my browsers nor software since Beta Phase 2, this began appearing a few days ago).
Kraggy, no one is trying to scare anyone, calm down.
This was indeed on Square Enix's end and I suspect it's the reason so many people were reporting a "Black Screen" on the launcher (Unable to connect/verify the web server/page the login is hosted on).
I could see the login fields after trying several times. But as noted above, Square Enix has updated this certificate. I am not sure what was causing it since the dates on the certificate seemed "fine" to me, but it is now fixed so...
The warning message has to do with the SSL certificate (security certificate) that's used to encrypt your login data when you log into your SE account. The login screen for the PC uses Internet Explorer to render the entire content area.
The notice simply means that the revocation information for the SSL certificate isn't loading. It shouldn't affect the encryption itself (so your login data is safe), just that there's a configuration issue with the revocation information for the certificate. Something minor for the server admins to look into, that's all. :)
I just saw this error myself and decided to do a forum search, and this was the first topic I found.
