Mounted Combat or easy switch to mount without dismissal

I shouldn't have to dismiss my companion from battle to mount. It should just mount instead. I'm fine with using the gysahl green. Though I'd like it even better if I could just fight on the mount.

Mounted combat would be great. Also I should be able to talk to NPCs at the very least while on the mount.

Before I forget...summoning the chocobo as a battle companion should not interfere with duty finders. I can't believe they couldn't implement them in such a way as to not do that.

The dismounting to talk to NPC's drives me nuts, and waiting in the DF for 30 mins then accidentally summoning your chocobo.. ARGH THE RAGE! haha

Mounted combat would be interesting, but wouldn't be easy to implement this far into release.
