Immersion-Friendly Features I Love

Have you ever noticed those little things in the game that the NPCs don't mention but somehow make sense? Here are a few nice touches to the game that piqued my interest.

1. Post-Calamity Migrations: The hippogryphs moved south from from Coerthas to Mor Dhona, the Rainbow Basilisks from Mor Dhona to northern Thanalan, and the raptors seem to have left Coerthas entirely. Even the crawlers build their cocoons in the East Shroud when they once hibernated near Dragonhead before the cold.

2. Gathering: Basilisks lay their eggs in the rock of Bluefog. The Kidragora and Coblyn minions are gathered in rare spawn gathering points near their respective "parents".

3. Animal Skin vs. Specific Skin Type: Lower level creatures are weaker in many ways, particularly their skin toughness. The skin of a level 8 hog is not strong enough to qualify as "Boar Hide" for use in high-level leatherworking, even though it's the same monster type as higher level boars.
