Crafting & gathering feel so good! :D
I was originally a disciple of war, mainly as damage dealer but the length of waiting for duty finder made me change to playing a tanker instead. After rushing through dungeons and story quests to level 40, I felt like something was missing. Then suddenly I realized that I could do this: play a damage dealer class (an archer), queue him up for dungeons, then switch to a disciple of hand/land class. It was an amazing experience.
From my FC chat, I see that the market is very inefficient, i.e. players selling items much higher than their values. Therefore, I decided to get all materials myself. Materials originally only came from gathering classes & guild supplier, but then more materials required from other working classes showed up. Eventually, I'm going towards training for all "careers". Being self-sufficient is amazing, I can make things that I want, repair whatever that break. As an archer, I go out hunt for skins, meats, horns, and other materials from wild animals like a true hunter. For every new skill (cross-class skill) that I learn, every new crafting gear to equip, a new strategy comes up that make my crafting better and better across all careers.
9 crafting jobs to do, a lot of experience to learn but that allows my archer, with its long waiting time for duty, to catch up. I have to say that this is a much better way to experience the game than follow the story. The story is short and simple. However, this world, though seemly small, contains indescribable amount of wonders. Enjoying the game this way, I can care less if everyone in the world is running around in relic gears.
