NYALUS for FFXIV is a tight-knit community without an abundance of people on the roster.
We're taking our ideals that we have set for other games into this, we'd like to have
people who care about the FC and understand that their contribution and activity matters.

Our aim is to build a tight-knit community (FC) inside FFXIV. When we have a good
set number of people we will close our doors and recruit (class/job) as needed. Once people start
reaching end game we will setup a raid schedule (weekends), regular attendance will
be noted and our "core" groups will be assembled.

NYALUS started with close friends that have been gaming together for a while,
we're a laid back crew, and helpful wherever we can when it comes to our own.
Usually people who can't take jokes or get offended easily don't make it far with us.

We are more about family than numbers. "Quality over quantity" as most use.

• We're looking for people over the age of 18.
• We have forums available to everyone if they choose to use it.
• We also have RaidCall which is our preferred VoIP option.

Here's my question... how often does "My god stupid useless dps this, crappy tank that, dumb healer there" show up in chat or on the teamspeak... I've had to leave 2 FC's already because I just couldn't stand the nonsensical bashing of everyone. In my opinion if you have a problem with how "crappy" someone is doing... help them learn, don't bash them, and if they don't want to learn, move on... I get so tired of seeing the crap in chat over and over again, I just want to play and have a good time with good people. Oh and not to mention, 9/10 the person doing the bashing is the one doing the failing... and yes I've posted this same reply in a couple threads, simply because, I want to find a home with a group of people that I can just enjoy the game with. I'm good at what I do, and I'd love to help others learn and learn from others as well.

After "beating" the game already - I've seen this a lot with the FC's I've joined as well. As for the NYALUS FC, we're not mass recruiting so we don't have many people in the FC yet but the people we do have don't exhibit this type of personality.

My advice, as you've posted this in other recruitment threads, shop around and talk with the leaders of the FC. Hopefully that would help a bit with your decision on what kind of community they are trying to build inside their FC.

I'd love to talk, I have just one more question. I work shift work for a living. 7 dayshifts on, 7 days off, 7 nightshifts on, 7 days off alternating like that. All 14 hour shifts when I work. So being that I work long hours during my work week, I don't tend to play then, usually just play a lot on my days off. Is something like that a problem? Unfortuneately my RL>Game life. Basically what I'm saying is, I just don't want to join an FC, get on my work week, and log back on to find out I've been removed from the FC... lol (currently at work actually for my work week as it is)

The core members of Nyalus have work, college, kids (maybe even all three) so we know a thing or two about real life. Sometimes you just can't get in the hours you'd like to get in on certain days, which is normal.

So no it's not a problem.

Finally normal people! lol I'll most likely for sure contact you when I begin my days off for sure!
