[dev1017] Batch Synthesis

I'm gonna keep this nice and short. We need batch synthesis in this game similar to what FFXI had. It took me almost an hour to synthesize 20 hard boiled eggs; partly due to slow response of UI (which I'm hoping will be fixed with the UI changes coming) and partly (and mainly) due to the involved process of crafting which I'm sure any crafter will tell you they enjoy how hands on it is but batch synthesis is required for classes like Culinary to be any good. If I'm a cook and I'm trying to get the best output per hour (of gil) I would probably quit cooking and go grind mobs (which also gives me the benefit of SP on top of the loot I drop).

Hit "Like" if you agree and want something like this added.

Might be good to allow high rank players to synthesis low rank recipe in mass amount together. or may be some little automatic syn that players can go afk while synthesis many of very low rank recipe compare to your level.

However, it is pro and con. Good part is to have less wasting time, but the bad part is market monopoly will be easier by high rank players. (altho current system also allow them to monopoly many part anyway)

Use Hasty Hand lol

Hasty Hands gets old fast and it breaks, breaking stuff that is 30 rank under = unnecesarry annoyance.

I would be okay with something like this as long as it is only for materials and food (things that stack) and you would have to be at least 10 ranks above it or something similar.

I do get the feeling that is what Hasty Hand was designed for though. It is just a shame you can still fail crafts even when you are so high above them in rank.

good idea for junk. Especially for making insignificant components in large quantities. Won't ruin anything, and it won't create an evil batch synthesis monopoly run by the Batch Gang, a group of rogue crafters hell bent on controlling the game's economy with their batch synthesizing ways... You can even say it could be limited to recipes that are enough ranks below yours that failure shouldn't really be possible (some flat value I would assume, maybe 20 ranks below you).

Hasty Hand speeds up individual synthesis when it works. If it were made reliable for lower level items then maybe it would serve as a half-assed alternative to a proper batch synthesis method. As it is now though, it is not.

Yeah you took that example but for many other crafts you already make batches. I think you make like 33 fishing hooks per craft or something like that.

The question here is more what should and what should not be crafted in batches, maybe SE could balance things a bit I agree, but I don't think that being able to mass produce all the lower level items would be a good idea for an already broken economy.

Hasty hand should have a percentage of success prior to using it, and SE need to fix it so that stats and rank effect it.

Suggestion:-
Hard boiled egg recipe:-

1 Egg
1 water
= 1 boiled egg

2 Eggs
1 water
= 2 boiled eggs

3 Eggs
1 Water
= 3 boiled eggs

It makes sense SE, come on !

Suggestion 2
Allow us to repeat the synthesis on completion similar to leves, provided we have the materials.

Yea this wouldn't be for like Armor sets...it would be for foods that go in stacks, for components, etc.
