FATE Initial Public Offering

Hello all!

Unfortunately, this particular iteration of FATE has come to an end and the purposes of this particular page are now obsolete while FATE readies itself for a relaunch. FATE was an investment firm for players that, during its final week, managed 3.1 million gil in assets and posted an average return of 20.05%.

Due to the widespread banning of September 27th it was uncertain what the exact criterion for banning was and several rumors had been posited. FATE decided to liquidate its assets and return all invested gil to investors without charge due to rumors that players were being banned a) for having high volumes of gil, b) for buying items from or selling items to gil sellers/buyers regardless of intent, and c) for buying items from or selling items to gill sellers/buyers from the market board.

At present, FATE is restructuring itself in preparation for a re-release and thanks all of those who invested previously.

You've got to be kidding me...

Nope. Nor do dividends lie. FATE paid out over 250k in dividends last week.

Sounds interesting. Sounds like it could work. The risk factor is high though, without security it will be difficult to increase shares. There has to be a form of accountability and there is not. I've been storming up some ideas that would grant security. Though I'm no stranger to the business. In EVE at least the game builds it's own security measure.

With many of the shares being closed-end in design it is indeed difficult to expand the base shares much further. That being said, I'd imagine if there was enough interest I may open up closed-end shares again for a period of time.

Indeed it is very hard to place trust in someone and I do my best to make sure everything is transparent as possible. I do a lot of work on my exchange (located here) to make sure that people know where money is going out and in and the present value of their shares. But as I state in all of my disclosures, there are risks inherent to investing and trusting in my not to scam people is inherently one of them. That being said, I'd imagine all of the people currently making money are glad they've made that leap thus far.

What are the commodities and/or assets in which to invest and how is the return gained?

Due to the recent banning of accounts I have decided to temporarily suspend FATE operations until such a time as Square Enix publicly announces their criterion for banning.

At this time, all shares have been liquidated and distributed to their proper owners. Thank you those of you who chose to invest with me. I'm hoping to resume operations within the next few weeks.
