Reborn Feature:
Give the players the opportunity to rebirth their level 50 Jobs back to Level 1.
Adding some ability bonuses to their classes / jobs / Characters as reward and / or rewarding with special Items.
Being able to rebirth up to a certain times for added bonuses each time you rebirth your job adding bonusses.

Gains:
Players can keep leveling up their favorite jobs.
Players could make their classes / jobs / Characters more powerful. (ability Bonuses, extra skills or spells.)
Players could obtain special Items, Gear, Weapons, etc
Players can obtain a title / indicator of rebirth. (Reborn Ranks or something)
Players can still equipped their AF Gear. (Capped stats obviously)

I don't see the allure. There's already 19 separate classes to level, including crafters and gatherers. For battle classes, once you've done the main story leveling slows to a crawl due to the XP slowing down due to waiting on FATE pops or doing other less efficient leveling methods.

I'd play Disgaea (which I can't stand) if I wanted to do this.

This is silly here, and would lead to huge abuses. One game that does this sort of thing decently is DDO, you can reincarnate, starting over from level 1, with certain bonuses depending on your previous class/classes, and each time the amount of xp needed to level goes up quite a bit. Here, since you can just swap jobs, it would just lead to people maxing that class over and over until they couldn't get the bonus anymore, and can you imagine the groups that would kick or leave if you didn't have those.

I want to replay my PLD so I'm all for this.

This would affect people who max out every class and want to level them up again. It's not a bad idea, I've seen other games pull it off, and it would be an alternative to creating a new character.

I've only ever seen a feature like this in MUDs. While interesting, it's a gameplay feature that doesn't fit in an environment like this and would require massive work to balance all of the class structures and character stats.

I've only seen a few games with this feature one which I played a lot, legend of mir. I'm not a huge fan of it tbh and would become a problem in PvP I'd imagine.
