Game keeps crashing and freezing computer, forcing me to reset my PC. What to do?

I bought the game a few days ago, but the game keeps crashing for me, or rather, it crashes my entire computer.

Basically i just play the game and then suddenly both my screens go blank and all I can do is reset my computer. All my other games run fine its only this game that gives the problem. Ive never gotten past the into (after the cinematic during the text that you have to click through). It happened multiple times during character creation aswell

I just upgraded my computer almost completely, everything except for harddisks.

Current setup:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA Z87-X OC
CPU: Intel 4770k
GPU: Asus HD7970 DCII 3GB
RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix
I run an SSD for windows and a Western Digital Black 1TB for storage.

Things I tried:
- I tried installing the game on both harddisks, both give the exact same problem
- I updated all my drivers, also tried beta drivers for my graphics card.
- Ran game in windowed mode, borderless windowed mode, and fullscreen.
- changed graphics from high to medium to low.
- Run as administrator. Disabled Firewall.
