BLM Artifact Armor??

I realize this may be a self explanatory question... yet nonetheless it's been killing me. I've seen a few people with Artifact armor (i.e. the armor outlined in blue and BLM job specific), but I can't for the life of me find out where to get it from. I've checked the Job quests for BLM and none of them say the Artifact armor is rewarded for their completion. Can someone shed some light please? This black mage has been in the dark for too long now :(:p

You get your AF armor in the L45 quests, exceptio tn to the body piece which is given in the L50 quest.
They're not a reward for the quest itself, but the quest basically revolves around finding them, so you get them out of places in the map instead of a quest reward
