Let us transfer Legacy characters sooner, rather than later.

I'm in a dilemma I'm sure many people are in. I have a lot of nontradeable, mostly vanity items that I collected through 1.0, a few primal weapons, etc. My friends, however, never bought 1.0 after news of the launch, and none of them (and I understand why) wanted to start on established servers.

At present, I'm having to maintain two characters--my new one so I can play with friends, which is almost level 50, and then my legacy (at weird hours) to keep it from being gimpy. To progress on my legacy, I have to make friends and join FC's that I know I'll ditch as soon as I can, and that just...sucks.

I would even be willing to reset my gil and lose all trade-able items, or reset my gathering/crafting levels.

I realize that there are a thousand reasons why we shouldn't be able to transfer our characters with all levels and gil, but please try to think of a system whereby I can transfer my character with the special storyline, goobbue, tattoo, etc. onto the same realm as my friends, without having to keep this up for six months.
