There are rumors out , that the entire area of Blackshroud get remodelled. Whatever the developers do, please don't destroy any quests and faction leves there. We are hunting for lodestone titles and hopefully you respect our wish, that the content doesn't need to be destroyed or changed.
In my opinion Gridanias forests are good as they are now.
I also love the way it is. It's really meant for people who call it home. We're supposed to be used to, and love the maze. If you're an outsider, you're supposed to hate it. They're not supposed to understand it. That's the point to being an outsider.
i totally agree! its a long walk between places but it wont be so bad once we get chocobos! i wish more people would play in the shroud.
The only thing I hate about Gridania is , it rains all the time and its dreary, the forest does have some openings for sun light and its so beautiful when the sun finally comes out in the Black Shroud. I think if they redesigned it, it would have to be centered around the rivers, always bothered me that it doesn't go anywhere and there is 10 copy pasta rivers with the same places to exit and enter them, I think if they just varied up the entrance and exit points of rivers it would vary up Gridania nicely.
I hate that the black shroud is a giant hedge-maze, not a forest. It can keep the tree cover, but it needs to be more open.
