Petition to add an implementation to current synthesis system.

Hello, all. I'm not really sure if this has been mentioned before, so I'll keep it short and to the point.

I've been crafting for a while now, and it's becoming rather boring having to constantly confirm the same synth over and over again like a dreaded broken record. When doing the levequests last night I really enjoyed the way SE implemented it when it asks me if I'd like to synth another. This is what I want done to the recipe option as well.

Let's say I'm synthing brass ingots.....I have a ton of materials.....After synthing the first ingot I'd really like the option to confirm either yes or no by just tapping the enter key once instead of four times. Not only does it save my poor pinky from being overworked, but it'll also save time for those who want to grind a few levels away with the time they have to spare.

I agree, but repeat option for synths were already being analyzed some time ago so i do expect it to being added not only for leves but also for common synthesis and repair. ^^

That way I'd NEVER have to look up from my TV show.

I like the idea. Not a biggie for me to go through the current process but any convenience is nice.

I agree that it would be a lot more convenient to have them streamline normal crafting like they did with local leves, however you have to look at both sides of the story. When they implemented this for local leves they also lowered SP gain per synth. The reason why is obvious, they don't want us to level any faster than we already are. So a 10% cut in time needed per synth will more than likely equate to a 10% loss in SP per synth. You're still making the same amount of SP/hour, but you're using more mats in exchange for a more streamlined system. Personally, I'd prefer to get as much SP as possible per synth as opposed to being able to just spam enter and ONLY enter to burn through all of my mats.

This brings me to my next point. Another way to make it slightly more streamlined, yet still reward the same SP per synth is for them to make "Recipes" instead of "Requested Items" the default selection after each synth. This way you can still just spam enter, never having to look at your screen, and get the same SP per synth as we currently do.

Both of these options introduce a problem which you may have overlooked though. If we're allowed to simply keep spamming enter and ONLY enter then eventually everybody will just buy a cheap turbo controller and tape the confirm button down while they're away/sleeping. (Yea I know, it's no secret that plenty of people are already botting crafts anyways.) But, technically this does not violate the TOS because you wouldn't be using any 3rd party tools. So "everyone" would be cheating even tho according to the TOS they aren't and won't get punished for it.

I guess they can streamline it and default the yes/no to no though, but then we'll still lose SP per synth. Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it. Although, yes, your suggestion is a good one and I would be happy if the system wasn't as clunky as it is now. But on the other hand I don't think I would want farm/buy 10% more materials because of it.
