There are some pieces of gear that cannot be crafted, and when fully spiritbonded, cannot be converted to materia. However, they look like generic items. AFAIK they only can be received as class quest reward, and only once. I've already spotted "Recruit's" and "Novice's" gear. Is it working as intended, or these items are bugged?
